The scriptures which are vast and large give us the detailed manual for reaching the goal of mukthi. To the one un-lettered in Sanskrit , Dasa Sahitya is the lighted path on which one can travel towards the goal. Sripadarajaru being the pioneers in singing in prasie of the Lord, composing various types of songs like keerthanas, ughabhogas, suladhis, mudiges, dandakas etc has condensed a lot of information into this beautiful song. He explains in a very curt way the main points which are the beacon lights to mukthi. If one wants to navigate the turbulant sea of samsaara these lights from the lighthouse guide the way for a safe and successful journey.
Sripadarajaru gives a 3 point program for achieving mukthi. He also expands on it by giving the details of the program.
1. sarva shakthi bEku – You need strength to achieve your goal of mukthi. Two strenghts are from the outside and two from the inside. In one’s family circle the most important people in one’s life should support one and that includes the spouse and children. From within one needs the strength of intellect to assimilate what is taught by the guru and finally bringing it to the application mode by oneness of thought, speech and action.
2. bhakuthi bEku – As defined by Srimad Acharyaru bhakthi is the overflow of loving respect to the Lord which comes with the knowledge of His mahAtmya. So to amas this knowledge one needs to have the skill of japa, the discipline of tapas, the ability to forsake food which helps in uplifting the mind and moving it towards peaceful contemplation.
3. virakthi bEku- One needs to have control on the sense organs, one should be pure of limbs and should engage oneself constantly in the expression of gratitude and love to the Lord with humility.
